About the event

In May 2015, Ireland made history with the passage of the Marriage Equality referendum, a defining moment for the LGBTQ+ community and a powerful message to the world about Ireland’s commitment to equality. As we mark 10 years since this momentous victory, YES+10: The Journey Continues invites the LGBTQ+ community to reflect, celebrate, and look forward. This collaborative installation at Outhouse LGBTQ+ Centre will feature a visual timeline of the journey, from campaigning for equality to the joy of weddings, families, and lives transformed. Through photos, memorabilia, letters, and personal stories submitted by the community, the exhibit will showcase the positive impact of marriage equality while reigniting the passion that fueled the fight for justice.
